Ms. Dal Soglio specializes in employment litigation, including claims of harassment and discrimination, violation of civil rights, wrongful termination, defamation, theft of trade secrets, unfair business practices, as well as class action cases, including discrimination class actions and wage and hour class actions.  She has extensive experience, including trial experience, in both the state and federal courts, and has a strong record of success in cases involving discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour violations, as well as public accommodations discrimination.  In addition, she has significant appellate experience and has argued and won appeals in front of both the California and the United States (Ninth Circuit) Courts of Appeal, succeeding in upholding victories she obtained in the lower courts.

 

In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Dal Soglio advises employers in almost every component of the employment relationship.  She works with a wide array of employers (including everything from small companies and start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, municipalities and universities), advising them in a comprehensive array of employment law issues including executive contracts, drafting and auditing employment policies and handbooks, assisting with day-to-day human resources issues, planning and implementing individual employee terminations and large-scale reductions in force.  Ms. Dal Soglio also conducts workplace investigations in connection with employee complaints of discrimination, harassment and corporate misconduct. 

 

Ms. Dal Soglio also provides human resources audits of policies and procedures, as well as preventative training seminars in such areas as hiring and firing practices, harassment and discrimination, and wage and hour compliance.  She offers a unique half-day management training seminar on the nuts and bolts of employment law. 

 

Before launching Dal Soglio Law Group, Ms. Dal Soglio was a partner with the international law firm of Latham & Watkins and a founding partner of Dal Soglio & Martens LLP.  She is licensed to practice law in California, Oregon and Washington, and is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.   In 2004, she was recognized as a "Rising Star" in labor and employment law by Los Angeles Magazine.
